To the Doctor Again!

We went to the doctor again yesterday. They said he weighed 9lbs 12oz and was 22inches long. My my my he is growing faster than I can blink. He rolled completely over today. He usually only rolls from his front to his back but today he rolled completely over. I am so proud!

One Month Old Today!

Paxton is one month old today! It certainly does not feel like he was born a month ago! I can tell he is growing so much everyday. He is eating almost every hour and a half now. If he keeps this up he is going to gain a pound a week. Yikes!

An Apple A Day Keeps The Doctor Away!

As I said before, today was the one month appointment at the new doctor in Shelbyville. We went to Shelby Pediatrics and saw Dr. Wendy. She was extremely nice and was very gentle with him. Some how my little baby boy has turned into a big 9lb. 22inch one month old! So far so good! He gets his shots at his next appointment on February 21 at 10:00. Ouch! Mommy is not looking forward to that!  Thursday he will be exactly a month old! More pictures to come!

Buttons, Buttons, Everywhere!

Paxton lost his belly button yesterday! I never thought loosing a button would make me so excited. In other news we finally documented one of his smiles! See below

Isn't he so cute! I guess I might be partial... He is also scooting more forcefully and rolling over! You might not believe me being that it is sooo early. But it is true. Video is to come shortly! He must be a determined little fella!

Eating Us Out of House and Home!

For the most part, Paxton has been on a schedule of 4oz. of milk every 3-4 hours. However, lately he has been wanting 5-6 oz. I don't want to feed him this much just to have him spit it up soon after. I have considered feeding him more often as opposed to feeding him more. Is it normal for a baby to eat every 1.5 to 2 hours? This is what I will be asking his doctor at his appointment which is scheduled for January 18th at 9:30. It is his one month appointment in which we will be able to see how much he has grown!  Any guesses to how much he weighs now? I am guessing a lot! I guess Tuesday we will find out. This is, unfortunately, also the appointment where he gets his shots... Yikes! I might be more scared than him!

I Spy With My Little Eye...

This is to show you how well he is holding his head up! He will try to follow your voice and loves to look around especially if he is beside a window or outside(when its warm). He has also started to look toward the television whenever it is on.

In The Begining

So this is my first post. I started this blog because one of Tylor's friends gave me the idea to start writing updates about Paxon in a book everyday. I figured if I were going to start doing that why not make it online in a blog so that his family could see and keep up with how fast he grows. Therefore I am going to try to post everyday if not maybe every other day. I realize that I am 22 days late at beginning this so here are a few pictures from the hospital to show where he began. From the day he was born he has been able to lift his head and look around. Recently he has began to scoot when you lay him on his stomach and he has began to see colors. He loves to follow the color red around. He has always been a good sleeper and sleeps 5 to 6 hours a night. He is also up to 4oz. of milk a feeding and continues to grow everyday!
